frosty the snowman

jay decided that the kids needed to build a snowman. he enlisted the help of the whole family. i had no idea it was going to be such a huge snowman! we used an old laundry soap bucket to make the squares. the kids had a lot of fun. then when frosty fell over colton started crying. poor kid. see my other post for pictures of frosty #2.

jayden's big day

i got to wondering if jayden was ever going to get baptized. we decided not to have it done while we were in texas for the summer because none of our family would have been able to be there. then we were going to have a combined one with his cousin logan on halloween but changed our minds because jay's parents were in new mexico and felt it was really important that they didn't miss it. then we were going to have him baptized with our stake in december but again changed our minds. we decided to make a trip to new mexico for thanksgiving because jay's parents weren't going to make it home. aunt kendra volunteered to arrange a baptism for us.

it was a perfect day and we had such a beautiful program. thanks so much kendra. those in attendance were grandpa and grandma durrant, aunt karen, the price family and cousin kristy.

Gator Jack's

There is this little sandwich shop in Rigby. It has become one of our favorite places to eat. They initially only served lunch but now they serve breakfast anytime of the day. They make a killer breakfast burrito that Jay just can't seem to get enough of. And we can't forgot the Gator Bites with Gator Sauce. They are absolutely the best tators around.

the kids were excited to each get a gator

Halloween Fun

We celebrated Halloween in Ririe this year including activities of hay rides, spook alley and trunk or treating. The proceeds went to a local family that lost their home in a fire. This made trick or treating way to convenient this year.
