Making Valentines

Jayden helped me make Valentines this year for his and Bubba's classes. We made these flowers out of hearts and a sucker. They turned out really cute. Jayden had fun helping me. Bubba would have helped but he was passed out on the floor.

Jayden's New Look

Last week we took Jayden into the eye doctor and found out that he needs glasses. He was so excited and couldn't wait for them to come in. He kept asking us when they would be ready. Well we picked them up last night and he kept putting them on and taking them off. Colton told me that he wanted glasses also. I told him to wait awhile and he will probably end up with some.

25 Random Things

So I have now been tagged by two people. I have put it off awhile now. Here goes.

1. I really miss my mom. It would have been her birthday yesterday.
2. I get road rage. I found out my dad is the same way.
3. I love to hang out with my friends. Especially girls night out.
4. I love animals. Jayden tells everyone that I am an "animal lover".
5. I don't like apartment life. I love my house in the country.
6. I love to travel the country.
7. I hate giving the prayer in church. It is one of my biggest fears.
8. I bore my testimony in church on fast sunday. I haven't done that for like 4 years.
9. I am not a good money manager. I wish I was more like my mom.
10. I like to site see. I got to see the Statue of Liberty, Manhattan, Central Park, etc. this summer.
11. I really want to go on a cruise. I have never been on one.
12. I love working as a CMA. I love assisting with surgeries, etc.
13. I worked in medical billing and coding in the past. I only lasted 6 years. It is not my favorite thing.
14. I love jeeping in Moab. I have been once.
15. I have a room full of scrapbook stuff that is just sitting there.
16. I love doing things with my family. I really missed my family this summer.
17. I love to camp, fourwheel, hike, etc. I love the outdoors.
18. I love to read books (especially love stories).
19. I love to watch chick flicks.
20. I have 1 dog, 1 goat and 3 cats (we have downsized in this dept.).
21. I love church history. I want to go to the Sacred Grove, Navoo, etc.
22. I love to see the temple. I have seen the temple in DC. I have been in the IF and St. George temples.
23. I love all 3 of my boys (you too honey).
24. I got married when I was 18. I had only been out of high school for 2-3 months.
25. My mom and I made my wedding dress. Jay helped too!

Snow Fun

Colton, Jayden and Trae


Last week Jayden's distant cousin, Trae, stayed the night. Trae has also been in every single class with Jayden since preschool. They are also really good friends.
They had so much fun playing in the snow for hours. Trae was using the sled as a snowboard and was pretty good at it. However, Jayden wasn't quite as good.

Smokers

Grandma and Grandpa Durrant bought little smokies awhile back and the kids absolutely loved them. Well Colton renamed them "smokers". He asks for them every time he is at Grandma's house. Grandma and Grandpa make sure they are stocked up on them just for Bubba! We had Sunday dinner at Grandma's house last week and I just had to take pictures of the boys eating their smokers.

"twilight"

My sister and I went and saw twilight today. OMG it was so good!!! We have been waiting for it to come to the cheap seats for awhile now. Well it just came out yesterday and Kris made arrangements so that Bryce would watch all the kids so we could go out. I got her to read the series about a month ago. I have been telling her how good it was and finally talked her into reading them. Well it took her about a month to read the whole series. Since she finished she has been bugging me to go see it with her. I kept telling her that I was going to wait til it came to the Paramount and that I wasn't going to pay $9 to watch a movie.

It has been just under a year since I read twilight and had forgot parts of the book. So Kris and I were discussing the book while watching the movie. We had so much fun and can't wait til New Moon comes out in theaters. Maybe we won't be so darn cheap and just go see it when it first comes out in theaters..

New church clothes

On Sunday Colton got to wear his new church outfit. Before we left for church I took a picture of the guys in their white shirt and ties! The boys don't like the clip-on ties and refuse to wear them. Well Jay told them that they could wear one of his if they wanted to. Luckily they had vests to hide the rest of dad's ties.
