Our Little Entrepreneur

Jay came up with a way for Jayden to make a little bit of money this summer. He told him he could make signs for the techs and then sell them for 10 cents. The techs loved this idea because making signs can be a hassle.
Jayden enlisted the help of his little brother. Jayden assigned Bubba to putting black tips on the poles and then Jayden would finish by screwing the sign to the pole.

Bye Bye Tooth

Colton lost his 1st tooth today. He even has another loose tooth and can't wait for it to come out also. He has heard all about the Tooth Fairy from Jayden. I think Jayden is more excited for the Tooth Fairy because he knows what is coming!

Sykes

We have made a friend here in TX. He is the cutest and most lovable black haired boy. We love to spend time with Sykes.

The turtle catching machine

Jayden is our little turtle catching machine. He has caught over 10 turtles and still counting! He can even catch them without a net. He has so much fun and is really good at it. Jay told him that we will start taking pictures of every turtle he catches so if he catches the same one again he will be able to tell by the pictures. All of them have been Red-eared Slider Turtles except for one other that we think might be a Snapping Turtle.

You're so....... cute

A few weeks ago I took the boys to a park nearby. When Colton realized where we were he said "Mom you're so......cute. You're so beautiful." Sometimes he throws me off when he comes up with stuff like this. Colton you're so cute!

Happy Mother's Day

We went to our ward here in TX on Mother's Day. The bishopric gave chocolates to all of the moms. Jayden really really wanted some of my chocolate. We told him that it was mine because it was Mother's Day. He told Jay and I that it wasn't fair and asked why we don't have Boy's Day. Of course I shared with the boys.

Happy Birthday Jayden

Today is Jayden's 8th birthday. We celebrated his birthday before we left for Texas. He doesn't quite understand why he doesn't get any presents today. To top it off it's Jay's first day of installing so we really didn't get to do anything together as a family. I will make him a cake and take him to McDonald's for a Happy Meal. Lastly, we will have Jayden baptized when we get back to Idaho.
